Seven Best Sunscreens for Dry, Oily and Sensitive Skin (2022)

Sunscreen is the most important step in your routine, it's the absolute best skincare product you can use to prevent the signs of aging and it also helps to prevent hyperpigmentation too. It is also so important for your skin health and prevents skin cancer but it can be really hard to find a sunscreen that actually works for you so here we have 11 different sunscreens for every skin type and tone so are you ready for the ultimate Summer time of 2021.

BurnOut Eco sensitive sunscreen SPF 35(All skin types)

The first one is the burnout eco sensitive sunscreen it can be found at multiple drugstores and find as well as on Amazon.  This one is a zinc oxide only sunscreen and is not formulated with chemical UV filters.  We are just going to be doing mineral based sunscreens.

This has non nano zinc oxide. It's fragrance free it has caprylic triglyceride and glycerin so it's really gonna hydrate and moisturize the face it feels like a moisturizer so it's relatively lightweight and out of all the sunscreens in this list this probably has the least white cast.

It's not too expensive and this one is the best sunscreen for all skin types.  This would work whether you have dry skin whether you have oily skin and if you have sensitive skin as well this is just an all-around good sunscreen.

SunBum Mineral SPF 50

For dry skin it’s the best sunscreen. This one kind is also a zinc oxide sunscreen only and zinc oxide in my opinion is the best sunscreen ingredient out there. The reason it is for drier skin is that the second ingredient is coconut oil. If you have oily skin don't think it's a good option for you.

It has very hydrating formula but has a very strong coconut smell, it has no fragrance ingredient in the list however   due to the shea butter cocoa butter it has a smell.

The bear republic mineral sunscreen lotion for the body SPF 3 (Oily skin)

Now you're thinking why you should put body sunscreen on your face here's the thing they have two different formulas the one for the body the one for the face, looking at the formula they are nearly identical. There isn’t a huge difference and it doesn't have any ingredients that are bad for the face.  This one is amazing for oily skin; it's a gel lotion it absorbs into the skin easily

It is fragrance free, tho it does have some natural extracts that some people could consider fragrance.

It has a lot of good natural extracts that are hydrating and soothing to the skin. Aloe extract is the second ingredient which is super impressive. It Hardly gives a white cast.

All Good mineral Sport SPF 30 (Active sports)

This one is only formulated with zinc oxide and it has some awesome ingredients like green tea extract for reducing redness and sensitivity.

The first ingredient is aloe leaf juice; it has a lot of beneficial plant oils that are good antioxidants and good for soothing the skin. It has all sunflower seed oil rose hip oil etc.

It is great for sports or if you are more active or if you're out in the Sun because it is water resistant. It's pretty lightweight in and terms of a white cast it does have a light white cast.

CeraVe hydrating SPF 30 lotion(oily skin)

If you want a tinted sunscreen it's something that's not quite makeup but still gives you a little bit of color correction to make sure you aren't lurking extra red,  Its CeraVe  hydrating sunscreen SPF 30 face tint sheer tint.

This one like all other CeraVe products has a really good ingredient list as opposed to some of their other products, this is also formulated with salicylic acid so for anyone who does have oily skin or you're worried about something that does have a tint or his makeup like is gonna block your pores that ingredient could help to make sure that your pores aren't getting blocked.

It definitely has the most white cast out of all the sunscreens listed. Because It does have a white cast you really have to work it out before applying it onto your skin, warm it into my skin for a good minute  and this obviously doesn't apply to everyone because people with darker skin tones wouldn't be able to use this product.

Neutrogena Dry touch sheer zinc SPF 50 (Sensitive, Dry skin)

If you have sensitive skin then you may wanna get this. It is the Neutrogena dry touch sheers Inc SPF 50 sunscreen. In terms of ingredients it has the most minimal and non sensitizing list.

It's zinc oxide only,  it's formulated with colloidal oatmeal which is great for reducing the sensitivity and redness as well as feverfew extract another ingredient for reducing irritation and glycerin to hydrate the face.

This one does have a white cast as well but when you work it up enough it can definitely work.  It's a great option for anyone who has a really sensitive skin that's gonna react to anything.

Versed Guards up Zinc SPF 35 (Sensitive skin)

The best luxury drugstore sunscreen, because it's more expensive but the ingredient list is amazing.

It has a little bit of a tint to it; if you do have darker skin tones this may be a little bit too light for your skin tho It blends into the skin nicely.

The ingredients,  it has zinc oxide only propanediol  which is gonna hydrate and reduce sensitivity in the skin, apple extract which has some mild exfoliation abilities, bisabolol which is going to be great for reducing sensitivity.

It calms the redness in the skin it helps to prevent trans epidermal water loss so really keeping that moisture up but it's hydrating but not greasy like you find with the other sunscreen that has coconut oil.

The main downside with this product is that it is so small and it's the expensive sunscreen out of all the sunscreens in this list, and with the amount of sunscreen we should use this doesn't last too long. But of all the drugstore selections this is definitely the best.
