What to Eat and What Not to Eat in Keto Diet


          Do you wanna know what you can eat and what not in a keto diet then you have come to the right place. We have categorized the food list into “To eat” and a “Don’t eat” category so you can know easily. But before that let’s define keto diet for those who don’t know and are new to the concept.

          The ketogenic diet is a high fat and low carb eating plan where eating more fats and very low carbs put your body into ketosis, a metabolic state where your body burns fat instead of carbs for fuel and often leading to rapid and substantial weight loss.

            Keto is everywhere, Instagram,  Pinterest ,YouTube and people in your own life are all singing the praises of a ketogenic diet.

But what food you can eat and what not following is the list in categorized form.

To eat

 Greens are a check for keto Diet 

  •   Protein rich 
  •   Beef
  •   Pork
  •   Lamb
  •   Chicken
  •   Turkey
  •   Nuts and seeds
  •   Oil such as Avocado oil coconut oil
  •   Butter
  •  Ghee
  •   Nuts, pecans Brazil nuts
  •  Full fat yogurt
  •   Even some of the French foods like unsweetened almond milk.

             So there are lots of things you can eat and they're actually arguably good for you.

                But there are things there in the “don't eat” category they're also good for you but not while in keto diet.

 

Don’t Eat

 

  •   Soft drinks
  •   Apple and carrots, so apples carrots those are what’s called high glycemic fruits and vegetables so they convert to glucose pretty quickly in the bloodstream and what we're trying to do in keto is we  are trying to reduce  on a glucose that gets into the bloodstream because glucose shuts off ketosis.
  •   Avoid bread
  •   Pasta
  •   Cereal
  •   Cakes
  •   Candies
  •   Pies
  •  Cookies

 

          I'm sorry but you know look at all the good stuff you can eat right.

                 Generally a person who does keto, knows their macros that's the breakdown of how much fat protein and carbs are in their daily diet and most keto people keep their macros at around 70% fat with 25% protein in about 5% carbs but everyone has their own approach.
