How to know if Keto Diet is Working

  




If you want to know if your keto diet is working or not you need to look for these 4 signs, the signs of an effective keto diet. But first let’s define what keto diet actually is.

 

               Keto diet is simply a high fat, low carb, low to moderate protein diet. It's not a plan you have to buy or sign up for it's not special food you have to have delivery or even a complicated book you have to read, the keto diet is simply a shift in how you eat that claims to turn your body into a fat-burning machine.

 

                Not only does the keto diet help with weight loss but current research also indicates that it can help to improve health conditions like heart disease type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer's disease.

 

How to know if the keto diet is working?

Well you can know if you observe these four signs

 

        1-                Increased Energy/Energy boost

 


                 When you are on keto diet, you body starts the process of ketosis, that means the liver is making ketones.  ketones are a fuel that get put into the bloodstream so one of the first things you would notice is increased energy you have  this super fuel that your body is creating from fat. The more energetic you feel the more fat have you burned.

 

       2-                No craving for sweets





           People that are on effective keto diet observe that they no longer crave sweets. Whether it is cakes, candies or cookies or any other sweetened food. Which is really good, I mean who wants to crave sweet things on a diet; it all makes the diet too hard. But keto diet makes you not crave sweets.

            If you do not crave sweets any longer it means you are on an effective keto diet.

 

      3-                 Breath




     Another way you might detect that you're in ketosis and burning that fat, is you might smell it on your breath, a little metallic breath,  a little sweet rotten apple breath or something like that but it doesn't have to be bad breath.

 

      4-                Urine


           The final way to find out is on urine strips. You Pee purple when in ketosis.  It’s one of the hallmarks of being in ketosis that its effectiveness is demonstrated by the urine.
