10 BEST KPOP COMEBACKS

 

        So many people are talking about how k-pop music in 2021 has been very mediocre till now and I Think I agree with that statement to some extent but these 10 comebacks are the only exceptions in my opinion these 10 comebacks are the highlight of k-pop 2021 till now so let's go

 

        10^th- “Hot sauce by nct dream ”  to be honest it's such a weird song but I really really love it from the chorus to the verses to the bridge everything is just made up of the perfect amount of quirkiness to make it catchy and upbeat the song always puts me in such a good mood also the weird sound in the chorus is literally so addicting it keeps playing in my mind at random times the styling for this era is also really good.

         It seems to really complement nct dream's youthful concept and as far as the music video is concerned I think it's really really well edited the pop of colors make it appear very pleasing to the eyes but I do believe that it could have been even better with such a fun song anyways overall.

 

        9^th- “Mafia in the morning by itzy” We have another song that at first sounds very weird for some reason but is just so catchy that you really can't run from it my initial reaction to Mafia in the morning was shocking because I absolutely hated the random noises and laughing sounds thrown in between for no understandable reason but after a couple of listens I think I understood how these random sounds complemented the whole song

this is hands down it is one of the best title track maybe second after not shy but anyways they slayed the song the outfits the album everything was very well put together but the music video just seemed to be a stage mix video because of how it kind of only had shots of them dancing in different sets but some of the transitions were very very neat and interesting to watch overall.

 

           8^th- “Butter by bts”  butter does kind of remind me of dynamite in many ways from the dressing to the music video style but sound wise it's quite different I loved this laid-back but fun kind of summer song from them

      but as much as I loved it I can't help but complain about the music video being a little bit plain it does compliment the song I must say but big hit could have done better in that particular area for sure butter also gets an eight out of ten next

 

             7^th-   “Alcohol Free by Twice” I know that a lot of people found the title track plain or boring but I think it's a beautiful chill song which represents a fun evening in summer in my opinion the song is very easy to listen to and has a really nice rhythm to it also did anyone else notice that the girls look way happier and way more confident in this comeback than they did previously

     or maybe it's just me but I definitely think that this song is a really great choice as it fits all nine members voice and everyone seems comfortable with it the music video is breathtaking and the styling is already a big upgrade.

 

        6^th- “I know I love you by txt” featuring siri txt has proven again and again that they are the best 40h gen boy group and this song is just another proof for that statement their music is so therapeutic and calm it takes you deep into imagination this song feels like it would be great when played in a movie at a scene where the leads seem to fall out of love but

   in reality they aren't falling out of love but just realizing how they just can't afford to live without each other anymore loll i'm sorry but this is what this song reminds me of and I’m not complaining

     sierra's voice blends so beautifully with all of the boys it's truly complimenting the song the music video for this song also complements the rock slash pop vibe of the song very well.

 

        5^th- “Ponzona by purple kiss” so purple kiss debuted with one of the most enjoyable songs of 2021 and I think we need to give them more credits for this song. Ponzone is such an addicting song from the vocals to the rap parts to the dance break chef's kisses it's completely laced with perfection

     I was not expecting this from a rookie group the girls looked like they have been performing as k-pop idols for years also can we talk about the styling and the hair because all of them looked amazing overall.

        4^th-  “drunk dazed by a Enhypen” now this is what I want from big hit groups when it comes to music videos because it was absolutely breathtaking the song is also so mysterious and well

   put together it keeps you interested throughout from the start till the end the chorus is definitely the best part of this song it's so catchy and interesting.

 

      Now it's time for the top three songs that are literally keeping the 2021 k-pop music alive. 

 

        3^rd-  “Hwaa by gidle” it's such a beautiful song gidle has yet to put out a bad song they always serve right and are always given little to no appreciation for their musicality and I just cannot digest that hwaa is such an amazing song and the melodies are so pleasing to the air on top of that soy and trap add so much flavor to this song wholeheartedly love it the music video for hwaa was gorgeous to say the least each member's individual scene the group

    scenes the light choreography everything just came together so well a lot of people were saying that the ending of the song seemed a little abrupt and made the song sound incomplete but I think otherwise it was perfect.

 

            2^nd-   “Asap by stayC” I knew stayC would bring something new and fresh to the table and they did just that asap was such a cute song can I just say that stayC and weekly kind of revived the lost cute girl group concept and no one is complaining the whole line the badass girl crush concept has gotten very repetitive and annoying tbh

 

       so I’m glad that 2021 saw some great cute concepts. Asap's bridge feels so magical that is my favorite part of the whole song. The music video for asap was also very well done, the colorful theme of the music video with the 3d tests and all the effects just made it even more cuter.

 

               1^st-  I think even if you disagree with me on all of my list you can't really disagree with who I’m putting first so at first we have the best comeback of 2021 till now “After school by-weekly”  I don't think I even need to say anything.

              I feel like I should just say and expect you all to agree this was definitely a great song everyone loved it it's one of those songs that no matter which fandom you belong to you genuinely enjoy after school definitely is from the shine from pentagon cheer up by twice replay by shiny genre and I respect weekly for that the styling the music video the vocals especially the chorus everything is just so cute and catchy I love this song this is what you call a solid 10 on 10.
